1. The service
DeTrace AI provides browser-based tools that inspect and remove known metadata and provenance fields from supported text and image formats. Processing happens locally on your device.
Results depend on the input and format. DeTrace AI cannot guarantee detection or removal of unknown, undisclosed or statistical watermarks. Keep an original copy and review every output before relying on it.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate account information, protect your login credentials and be legally capable of entering into this agreement. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
3. Subscriptions and access
Basic and Business are monthly subscriptions. The selected plan renews automatically each month at the price and currency shown at checkout until you cancel it. You can cancel through the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period.
Except where applicable law provides otherwise, charges are non-refundable after access has been supplied. This does not limit mandatory consumer rights.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of files and text processed in the workspace. You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to process that content.
The current workspace processes supported content locally. DeTrace AI does not receive or store the text and images placed in it.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, infringe another person’s rights, remove provenance deceptively, bypass access controls, disrupt the service, distribute malware or attempt unauthorised access to accounts and systems.
6. Our intellectual property
DeTrace AI, its interface, software, branding and documentation belong to the operator or its licensors. Your access is limited, personal, revocable and does not transfer ownership of the service.
7. Availability and changes
We may improve, replace or discontinue features and supported formats. We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, DeTrace AI is not responsible for indirect loss, lost profits or loss caused by using an output without review. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended or terminated where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risk, non-payment or a material breach of these terms.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms when the service or applicable law changes. The revision date on this page identifies the current version. Questions can be sent to hello@detrace.ai.
